Oneonta Municipal Airport serves a significant market niche in Otsego County. It is the closest paved airport to Cooperstown, which is located 20 miles to the north. The Airport features one 4,200 by 75-foot asphalt runway, 6-24, equipped with lighting and instrument navigational aids, cargo, air taxi and charter services. In addition, the Airport is now within a designated Empire Development Zone, which provides tax relief to new businesses.

Hanger Space

At Oneonta Airport there are 18 "T" hangers on site. 17 of these hangers are in full time use with one available at the present time. These "T" hangers will be available again in September.  We have an A& P mechanic on site in the large, main hanger who does rent out hanger space, from time to time.

The main hanger on the premises is also used for temporary storage. For information please contact Dan Bentley at (607) 431-1076. 

Airframe & Powerplant Maintenance

We offer Airframe and Powerplant maintenance on site in the main hanger of the Airport. This service is provided by Bentley Aviation.
